Funding

There is no additional charge for non-funded hours. This charge is not applied if you receive 2-year-old funding or are in receipt of pupil premium.

·       15 hours: All 3–5-year-olds are entitled to 15 hours free plus enhancement fee of 0.60p per hour for funded hours.

 ·       15 hours: 2-year-olds can have free early education and childcare if they claim welfare benefits (‘economic criteria’) or your child is looked after by the local authority or has additional needs (‘non-economic criteria’).

 ·       Additional 15 hours: Working parents of 3-and 4-year olds who are eligible will be able to apply for up to another 15 hours of early years education or childcare per week for 38 weeks. This is called the ‘extended’ entitlement and can be used as 22 hours in total all year around plus enhancement fee of 0.60p per hour for funded hours.

The Department for Education’s-Early Education and Childcare updated guidance states:

‘Government funding is intended to deliver 15 to 30 hours a week of free, high-quality flexible childcare. It is not intended to cover the costs of meals, other consumables, additional hours or additional activities. Parents can therefore expect to pay for any meals offered by the provider. Parents can also expect to pay for other consumables or additional activities, such as nappies or trips.’

Fees are reviewed on an annual basis.

Withdrawal of children
We require one month's notice of your intentions to withdraw your child from the nursery otherwise you will be charged for the month. You will receive one month's notice from the nursery should this be necessary.

Holidays
All holidays will be charged at the full rate. We are closed all Bank Holidays and at Christmas we are closed on Christmas Eve and re-open on the first working day after New Year. There is no charge during these periods.

Sickness
Fees remain payable in full during any sick absence. Children must not attend if they are unfit for nursery and collected if they become unwell during the day (further details on exclusion periods are available).

Additional Fees
The Nursery is open between 8.30am and 5.30pm. Collection after this time will incur a charge of £10 for the first 15 minutes and £15 for each additional 15 minutes (This goes directly to the staff who have been kept late). This is not an additional service and continued lateness may result in your child losing their place.
